Thanks for the report. The problem is the same as described in
<http://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=13282>. It is fixed in the
repositories.
You could upgrade to Tramp 2.2.7-pre. Please note, that Tramp has
changed its repository to git, see
<http://www.gnu.org/software/tramp/#Obtaining-Tramp> for instructions.
Alternatively, you could use the recent pretest version of Emacs 24.3.
