[Aspell-user] Emacs and aspell crashes

I recently upgraded to the latest version ot EMACS.

Now every time I run Emacs's spelling mode, which
calls ASPELL, I get a seg-fault.

Both programs work fine from the command line separately.

Does any one have any suggestions on getting them to
play nice together again?
