Great! Thanks for letting me know.

That's what I suspected. However, I don't have a copy of it
or a handy link to that patch...
I'm very interested in being able to include this in 3.3.1
and not have to wait until 3.4.

AFAIK, I've got the mingw patch from Tony Mahar. That's
what I use to build gcc with.

Testing today for Windows. My guess is that WinAVR will
include 1.0 when it is ready (sometime soon after Joerg
gets back after August 23 I suspect).

Thanks!

I realize that avarice is, and has been, a quick moving
target. I don't expect an "official" release, but I would
like to include a somewhat-stable snapshot. I'm looking
toward the end of the month as that's when other projects
(gdb, avr-libc, avrdude) should stabilize as well.

Speaking of avrdude, I have to get Alex's timing patch in
and test building it. Ted, perhaps at the end of the month
a minor release (4.2.0) could be done? (We can also discuss
on avrdude-dev if needed.)

In the meanwhile, I'm starting to test the builds of the
various projects, the WinAVR readme is being rewritten, I
have some issues to look into on building the installation,
and I have to pull in documentation.
