I have attached the patch I wrote for myself a couple of days ago for
4.1.4. It also contains some additional changes to the do_posix /
do_traditional checks since some of them seemed inconsistent that may be
incorrect because there are other guards in place further up the stack
that I didn't see.

P.S: you don't seem to have the REALLYMEAN variable documented anywhere,
and it seems like something that should be exposed by the autoconf
script.
