Hi again,
[thanks for the quick responses which got me past the smrsh/queue-pr issue]
No on to gnatsweb 2.9.0 [Redhat linux, gnats 3.113.1]
** gnatsd is working
** my gnats_adm/gnats.conf reads (tried several different things here):
*:edit:
** my /etc/gnats-db.conf reads:
/usr/local/share/gnats/gnats-db:normal,standard,regular
** I have perl5 at good ole /usr/bin/perl
** I have also installed the MIME::Base64 package
** I run make test USERNAME=gnats PASSWORD=mypasswd DATABASE=normal and
get this stuff (which I search google for and the answers tell me to set
up /etc/gnats-db.conf which I already have)
perl test.pl
Content-type: text/html
<H1>Software error:</H1>
<CODE>Can't call method "header" on an undefined value at
gnatsweb.pl line 2215.
</CODE>
<P>
For help, please send mail to this site's webmaster, giving this error
message
and the time and date of the error.
[Tue Oct 2 14:13:28 2001] test.pl: Can't call method "header" on an
undefined value at gnatsweb.pl line 2215.
connect...........................................FAIL
make: *** [test] Error 29
** For the heck of it I load the web page on my server, luxor, anyways and
see:
Login
host luxor, port 1529
cannot understand ''
** so I track down the perl code and see that a perl CGI structure "q->"
isn't getting a value.
any clues??
thanks ahead of time!
Heather
