on the 051512 build, so I took a subset of 13157 cases and ran LIST on that.
That took about five minutes, so if the rate is the same (and it probably
isn't; I tried running it without outputting to a text file, and it took a few
minutes for any output to start appearing), then it should take 20 minutes to
run the 51475 cases, which is how long it took me with the bugfix.

It would seem then that the bugfix hasn imposed significant extra overhead.
That is good to hear.

I tried out the new build; when I ran FREQUENCIES on a variable, there was
a temp file created. When I exited pspp, the temp file deleted itself, but the
folder remains. This also happened with CROSSTABS.

Is this using the command line or the gui (or both)?
