autoconf 2.53: no more acconfig.h? |

I get a loud warnings from autoheader now:
cd . && /bin/sh /u/texinfo/src/missing --run autoheader
WARNING: Using auxiliary files such as `acconfig.h', `config.h.bot'
WARNING: and `config.h.top', to define templates for `config.h.in'
WARNING: is deprecated and discouraged.
Fine, but hey, I didn't create acconfig.h myself. So how can I avoid
using it? I'm just running aclocal/automake/autoconf/configure, my
configure.ac doesn't have any AC_DEFINE's in it. Seems like it's not
me, the poor old maintainer, you need to complain to, it's whoever wrote
the Autoconf macros. Mostly AM_GNU_GETTEXT, from the look of
acconfig.h. Plus AC_HEADER_TIOCGWINSZ, and PACKAGE/VERSION.
If I'm supposed to do something in my sources, please advise.
Thanks,
k

Descriptive text for the C preprocessor macros that
the distributed Autoconf macros can define.
No software package will use all of them; autoheader copies the ones
your configure.in uses into your configuration header file templates.
The entries are in sort -df order: alphabetical, case insensitive,
ignoring punctuation (such as underscores). Although this order
can split up related entries, it makes it easier to check whether
a given entry is in the file.
Leave the following blank line there!! Autoheader needs it. */
@TOP@
/* Define to 1 if including sys/ioctl.h is needed to get TIOCGWINSZ. */
#undef GWINSZ_IN_SYS_IOCTL
/* Define to 1 if NLS is requested. */
#undef ENABLE_NLS
/* Define as 1 if you have catgets and don't want to use GNU gettext. */
#undef HAVE_CATGETS
/* Define as 1 if you have gettext and don't want to use GNU gettext. */
#undef HAVE_GETTEXT
/* Define if your locale.h file contains LC_MESSAGES. */
#undef HAVE_LC_MESSAGES
/* Define as 1 if you have the stpcpy function. */
#undef HAVE_STPCPY
/* Define to the name of the distribution. */
#undef PACKAGE
/* Define to the version of the distribution. */

If you're adding to this file, keep in mind:
