        I don't think that editing can significantly reduce our page
count.  Right now, it is at 381, which is 24 signatures of 16 pages
each.  Our upper limit is 384 pages before we pop another signature in.

        If you feel like reworking, that would probably be something to
ask about on the GCC mailing lists.
