Linux / NT dual boot |

I've got Red Hat 7.2 installed on my first partition, second is Linux swap,
and a third is free. I'd like to install NT on the third partition but am
running into trouble..
NT makes it through the first part of the setup process (formatting the
partition [FAT] and copying some files over) and then reboots, expecting to
resume setup from the hard drive.
At this point GRUB takes over (I'm surprised NT doesn't wipe the MBR..). If
I try to boot the NT partition to resume the setup process via:
rootnoverify(hd0,2)
makeactive
chainloader +1
boot
then GRUB just gives me a blinking cursor and freezes. So, my question:
Is it at all possible to leave my Linux partition intact and install NT in
this manner? If so, how?
Thanks,
Evan Drumwright
