I´ve just downloaded Lido , uncompressed it in Basilisk II emulator, but no 
good news, there isn´t any code :(
Personally, I would find very usefulparted ability to resize hfs and/or hfs+, 
because of the increasing community of Linux mac users (Linux would become an 
even more ireesistible Mac OS-killer). See you,

I think this idea should solve that problem (part 2):

The main reason I'm not working on the ext2 code is I there's no
community behind it.  It would be best to use e2fsprogs instead.
Unfortunately, Ted T'so (the e2fsprogs maintainer) doesn't like
the idea of making e2fsprogs code re-usable.  Maybe I should send
some patches, and see what happens...
