This is more likely issue with the info documentation viewer you are using,
not with the documentation format itself. Did you try e.g. pinfo [1]?
Also KDE (and maybe any other useful desktop environment) supports the "info:"
URLs and displays them in the same way as it displays the "man:" URLs.
