hi, sorry to bother you but i need your help, i made a huge mistake, i acidentally deleted the core utilities (/bin) program from my 32gb ipad 2, using cydia. immediately after that cydia closed and it wouldn't open again, so i turned off my ipad and then i tried to turn it on again and it won't turn on, it just starts showing the little apple that shows when normally turning it on, and then it shuts down and starts again repeating that process, is there anything i can do?, please answer me as soon as you are able, i will be be completely grateful with you!!

1. Ipad coreutils are from macos or freebsd and not from GNU afaik.
2. DO NOT install cydia and other random crap on iPad. Use ONLY stuff from
AppStore.
3. Get Android if you want to tinker with your device. Mac devices are for normal users.

How to fix a 'frozen' iPad

Mat Toor

This guide shows you how to fix a frozen and unresponsive iPad by using the
restart, reset and restore options to force it back into life

Published on Apr 7, 2010

Occasionally your Apple iPad may freeze or hang during an operation - some would call this a crash - and won't respond to the Home button, Sleep/wake button or the touchscreen.

If this happens there are two solutions you should try first:

   * *Restart the iPad*: press and hold down the sleep/wake on the front of the
iPad for few seconds until the red slider appears, slide this across to
shut the iPad down. Restart the iPad by pressing the Sleep/wake button on
the top until the Apple logo appears
   * *Reset the iPad*: if restarting the iPad didn't work then you will need to
reset the iPad. You can do this by pressing the Home button and the
Sleep/wake button on the top the iPad's case and holding them down
together for 10 seconds. The iPad should then reset itself

     Restore the iPad

If neither of these two options fixes your unresponsive iPad then you will need to restore the iPad to its factory settings.

  1. First make sure you have a USB 2.0 connection cable and the latest version
     ofiTunes <http://www.apple.com/itunes/download>installed
  2. Connect the iPad to your Mac or PC and launch iTunes
  3. In the*Devices*section click on the*iPad*icon then the*Summary*tab and
     then click on the*Restore*button
  4. When prompted, click on*Back Up*to back up all your iPad's media and
settings
  5. Then click on the*Restore*button
  6. This will restore your iPad to its factory settings and install the latest
version of the iPad operating software. Once this is completed, the iPad
     will restart
  7. You can now restore all your iPad's media and settings from the most
recent back up then click*Continue*. Your iPad should now be up and
     running again...
