Yep, what Philippe said!  My ideal title bar would be:

[ #  - + LeftJustifiedTitle                      x ] 

Where:

#   document drag icon (icon gives indication of document type
    so it is good to have it visible; should be related to miniwindow icon.

-   miniaturize

+   maximize

x   close

Would you right-justify the title in other scripts? Arabic?

Additionally, double-clicking on titlebar should shade it (or miniaturize
if shading is not available) and modified clicking (Alt-click, Cmd-click?)
would give you resize bar functionality in the title bar.  The same modified
click in the resize bar would allow you to move the window - you can't have
too many drag/resize points (but you can have too few - MacOS X drives me to
distraction with its ONE resize handle)
