Subject: | [OT, Q] Fast RPC library? |
Date: | Sat, 22 Oct 2005 21:46:21 +0900 |
Hi, This is off-topic but I cannot help but to ask ... :-)My question is, do you know any simple to use(like XML-RPC) and fast (10K/sec in PowerPC G4) RPC library? My intention is improving existing account server (whose performance is about 10K/sec in PowerPC G4, ie, 10K request processing per second and uses custom, platform dependent binary protocol.) My previous try with XML-RPC was failed because I can only get 1K/sec only.
Thanks in advance. PS)I'm very interested in GNUstep's DO but I cannot make the server scalable; I mean I do not know how to make scalable/high performant DO server. Also, I cannot make linux NSS module(such as libnss_files like thing) can use GNUstep(I only get segmentation fault. May be I have to initialize some part of system for GNUstep but I don't know this too.)
