Summary: X(Sharp) font size does not correspond the size of a
System.Drawing.Font
Original Submission: For a range of "System.Drawing.Font" sizes there is just
one font created in X(Sharp).
I have tested with System.Drawing.Graphics.MeasureString(..) method.
With the test program you can select a FontFamily and a FontSize in 0.25 Steps.
The TestText "Let's go DotGNU" and the measuered string length will be
displayed for the selected Font.
For e.g. Arial: The X(Sharp) Font is the same for the range 8-9,25 and
9.5-11.25 and 11.5-14.75....
With test program you can generate the attached .txt files which includes for
each font and size the measured string length.
The Analysis (excel chart) is in TestFontSize.pdf.

X fonts, particularly the default bitmapped fonts, do not
scale well. So Xsharp rounds the font size to the nearest
X size that doesn't exhibit scaling artifacts. If you want
precise font sizes, you must enable Xft fonts at configure
time with "./configure --enable-xft".
