I received a bugreport generated with icc 8.0 apparently to the effect that: > eval.c(1192): remark #592: variable "h" is used before its value is set > > The source code is > > if (!NILP (h.var)) > > Suggest init h before first use. Still seems to be true in cvs. Is this something that needs fixing or is the Intel compiler being overcautious? Jens
