Yes.  As a rule, window functions consider WINDOW nil as the selected
window.  `quit-window' doesn't.

I'm afraid that `quit-window' aficionados might not be all too happy.
That function has a quite separate history and is mostly
`switch-to-buffer' optionally killing or burying the current buffer.

`quit-restore-window' OTOH does delete the window or the frame if it has
been specially created for displaying the buffer.
