Ok, I'm convinced, more or less. And option 2 is definitely the easier one, we can always add additional faces on a theme author's request.

Page 31 of the book he co-authored with David  Flanagan - "The Ruby Programming Language". I can send you the scanned page if you don't have the book around. 
Btw, don't forget about the missing keywords BEGIN, END, __LINE__, __ENCODING__ and __FILE__. Maybe __LINE__, __ENCODING__ and __FILE__ can be highlighted as variables(like self, true and false)?


OK, I'll do some tests and I'll get back to you on this one.

Any results?

Got sidetracked by work and some other projects. Will try to do some testing tomorrow.
