Ah, it does show up in my load-history in emacscvs 

But in emacs21.2 -q -no-site-file, my load-history is only 11 elements
long and doesn't contain bindings.el (even though complete-symbol is
defined)..  i remember seeing somewhere a code that "prunes"
load-history after initial loading.. so that's where it might be...
yes, i am surely using the right way to test it.  Just to make sure i
am, i did (require 'pp), then (insert (pp-to-string load-history)) and
then C-s'ed for "bindings"...



anyways, sorry for the false bugreport. Thanks Luc,  for
clarifying that bindings.el is pre-loaded.
