Some of us just don't like cmake very much. I don't think system builders
like it at all (it's hard to avoid a certain amount of interaction).
There *was* a problem involving ncurses/termcap, but it's been so long
since I last did a build that I've forgotten exactly what it was -- maybe
cmake failing to recognize them as mutually exclusive. It may or may not
have been fixed since.
(I'm not sure any linux distribution even comes with termcap these days,
but it's still useful for very small systems and a handful of critical
programs.)
Fortunately, I never throw anything away and I'm attaching the patch I
came up with for 1.1.6. Maybe someone else can make some sense of it...I
know I can't any more. :)
