[Devel] Bug report: text rotation has broken in 2.1.2

I find that text rotation has broken between release 2.1.1 and release 2.1.2
of libfree, both built from the source tarballs mirrored from SourceForge.  

The sense of rotation has become inverted, such that a positive angle 
produces clockwise rather than counter-clockwise rotation.

I encountered this problem while trying to confirm an error report for the CVS
version of gnuplot.  I see from a Google search that the same problem has
also been encountered and reported recently on comp.lang.perl.modules.
