Hi David, et al,
Is there some way of determining at runtime whether a library has the
full bytecode interpreter available? I currently determine this in
pfaedit by checking whether TT_Run_Ins is present in the shared library
(when I load the library at runtime).
With the addition of the unpatented hinting code I presume this test
is no longer adequate. Is there some other routine I could check for
which will disambiguate these two cases, or is there some routine I
could call which will give me the state of the library?
