Hi Werner! No, it has nothing to do with KDE, but KDE links to libfreetype. I had another Problem with the Symbol FT_Get_PS_Info. (fftype1.c). Now I have compiled all src/base/*.c files with gcc -c and then copied all to /objs/.libs. After that I rebuild the lib, but included the object files by Hand. Now everything works. The BASE_SRC_EXT symbols seems therefore not to be linked into libfreetype for what ever reason. Do you still need the logfiles? Thanks for your reply. Regards Thomas Werner LEMBERG wrote:
I recognized, that the file ftglyph.o is not build and linked to the libfreetype.a!Doing all steps manually it worked!! Thank you! I'm not sure what is the cause for this behaviour. Maybe somebody with more knowledge can dig a little bit more? You should report this to the KDE people -- or do you have problems with FreeType's own makefiles? Then I would like to see log files from ./configure make Werner
