There is a persistent confusion between "videos" and "flash movies".
This has largely resulted because Flash is mostly used to show videos
on web pages. But the video is not the Flash movie; the Flash movie
controls the video, and runs the "decorations" around the edges, like
the Play button, the timeline/scrollbar, and the Full Screen button.
If you want to play an FLV video, rather than using Gnash, use "totem"
(on Ubuntu), "mplayer", or another video player, rather than Gnash.
We had the idea earlier that Gnash should come with a little internal
Flash movie that would run you feed Gnash a video; that's what the
UNIMPLEMENTED message is about. If this really bothers you, implement
that!
