I now understand my message was written too fast without explaining my
real problem. After the installation of gNewSense, I can't get further
than the PMON> prompt. I'm at
http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Projects/GNewSenseToMIPS at step 4
> # Once finished, your system can be booted with:

By the way in PMON> I've found use of the devls command, which I believe
shows what the names of my devices are. When I use it, it shows:
> PMON> devls
> Device name Type
> rt10 IFNET
> wd0 DISK
> usb0 DISK
So I try the 4th step(in PMON console):
> load /dev/fs/address@hidden/boot/vmlinux-2.6.27.7-libre
> Couldn't find device [wd0]
> /dev/fs/address@hidden/boot/vmlinux-2.6.27.7-libre: Undefined error: 0
PMON> devls
> Device name Type
> rt10 IFNET
> wd0 DISK
> usb0 DISK
although one of the steps when I installed gNewSense I had used this
command and it worked without errors:
> load /dev/fs/address@hidden/vmlinux (elf)
> (elf)

This command didn't give me the "Couldn't find device [usb0]" kind of
errors.
Now I hope I've corrected some of the mistakes I did while trying to
express what my problem is.
