Hi,

Earlier we discussed having more commands accept a shortened form like
patch-32 instead of e.g. address@hidden/blah--main--0--patch-32.

The changesets above implement a new function
arch_fqvsn_from_tree_and_input which abstracts this out, and converts
get-changeset, undo, cat-log, and delta to use it. I also removed the
ability for delta to operate on directories, which made things easier. This last bit (which is in patch-8) may be slightly controversial (?)
but it's cleaner without, and it seems like people should just use
'mkpatch'...

I think we may be duplicating effort. I've got a function arch_determine_revision that determines a revision from a revision or version name, and I've applied it to tag and sync-tree. Extending it to support patch-? is pretty natural. Too sleepy right now, though.
