Hello John,

I am the one working on this project and Guix can already run on the
Hurd (with some bugs here and there) and I am currently working on
finishing my GuixSD/Hurd port. We are slowly merging my code to Guix
master and with enough effort from my side it will be available soon. :-)

If you are interested in running Guix on debian/hurd please do send me a
message so I can guide you.
