Yes, it's a positional superko violation. GNU Go has no such detection
implemented, although it's a long standing TODO item.
Perhaps more interesting are the mistakes in playing the semeai,
leading up to the superko position. For example move 208 at E2 or C1
would have avoided all trouble.
