Suggestion:1.) pre-requisite for bootstrapping is setting up the user "gm-dbowner" or "gnumed" as super user manually. Simple task
2.) GUI wizard collecting neccessary configuration information (presenting reasonable defaults) creating and optionally running a bootstrap script (basically the wizard would just create the config file and then run Karsten's bootstrap script with appropriate parameters).
This might make it a bit easier for the newbies. Hosrt
