[Gnumed-devel] General Questions about GNUmed and possible development ?

We are interested in using GNUmed in a german medical practice with about 30 
Clients and 1 or 2 Servers. So we looked at all the web pages and the trial 
CD version. I looked partially through the source code. What I have seen 
looks promising, but as you say, not ready for daily use.

So our question: We have a customer who might be very interested in using 
GNUmed and might be interested in paying us to install GNUmed on his systems. 
So to be usable in such an environment, we of course, would have to improve 
and "finish" some of the GNUmed modules to make it suitable. But there are a 
few questions, for which we could not find an answer yet: (mostly Germany 
related ones)

-> what about connecting to a medical database ?? Are there already any plans 
??
-> what about the german  "kassen- und privatäztlicher Abrechnung" (Accounting 
for doctors in Germany) ?? Any design ideas already ?
-> are there any thoughts about connecting GNUmed to korganizer and/or 
gnucash?? (e.g. accounting on a cash basis with GNUcash, doing scheduling 
stuff in korganizer)
-> any thoughts about integration of a german physiotherapy practice ?
-> is it usable in a multi doctor envirnoment ? So for example does it handle 
holiday replacement ??
