I hope you guys know (but I figured to here make explicit) that I am not trying to be a pain... I am just trying in a perhaps more polite way to ask some of the questions that Gour (or other future people who would complete a package) might be wondering.
I am not pursuing questions (like the directory name client vs Python) to be difficult and I do concede that some choices were made because they had some merit even when small or competing with other options and, having been made, could require excessive work to change. Also not to get an education for education sake though it is in some cases a valued by-product.
I do hope http://wiki.gnumed.de/bin/view/Gnumed/TarballContents will help others and in that way leverage the help you are both giving.
