Don't think so.
My documentation says that the arguments are:
Default Tag name of media
612 Media width
792 Media height
0 Paper weight in g/m2
() Paper color, e.g. white
() Preprinted form type
An example that Adobe gives in
http://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/pdfs/tn/5001.DSC_Spec.pdf
is:
%%DocumentMedia: Regular 612 792 75 white ( )
I believe that as long as we do not really know anything about paper
weight and colour, it is best to leave them unspecified.

Excellent. I would imagine that GSview uses the %DocumentMedia, whereas
the distiller would use the PageSize.
