You will find
ftp://ftp.uncg.edu/people/wlestes/flex-2.5.6.tar.gz
a beta distribution of flex. This should follow the normal
configure;make;make-install run for building and installation.
We need your feedback on the new features, especially. (See the NEWS
file for details.)
The official release of flex is still a bit in the offing, but it's
within the near future--for real--now.
