[Help-glpk] trying to stop solver |

I have glpk-4.4 for UNIX.
we noticed that even not so large LPs were taking forever to solve.
A problem with 450,000+ variables, 58,000+ constraints took more than 5
hours without offering a solution.
The infeasibilities were all 0 (ZERO), but still, the solver was running
trying to get the best solution.
Is there anyway to stop the solver just a few iterations after the
infeasibilities of 0 is reached?
Is there some code I have to hack? or some option in glpsol.exe?
