Hi all,

Here's the latest version of my webpage for solving MathProg models inside your browser:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2140549/mathprog/mathprog.html

This is intended for a course that I'm teaching that introduces to students to the elements of OR with application to range of business problems. The goal here is a 'zero-install' cross-platform tool for model development.  This is made possible by Henri Gourvest's glpk.js project, and his hands on help in getting this page together.

This version fixes bugs that a few of you pointed out with a much earlier version of this page. There are still problems with how the dropdown menus work on a phone or iPad tablet, but otherwise this should work in any modern browser.

This project will continue to evolve, but the basic concept is there. The feedback I've received has been helpful. I'd appreciate any thoughts on usability, bugs, etc., and testing with your own MathProg scripts.

Keep in mind that the computations are being done within your browser. So this ought to scale well for teaching and possibly other applications.

Jeff
