Hi Heinrich,

This has been a learning curve for me (which can probably tell from the code). Getting this
project on to github is definite priority for the reasons you mention. I hope 
to that done in the next week or two once the initial development has settled
down.

Git would allow other users to keep track of the changes, and to develop
patches and to propose these to you. Furthermore university accounts tend
to be deleted after you quit the university.
