Yes, I know you can change the colors in Emacs :)

Unfortunately not.
Just because you can configure things in Emacs and
spend a lifetime doing so doesn't mean other editors
are completely unconfigurable. Try this:
nano --nohelp --morespace
Damn! nano wins again!
