Hi, thanks for answering

I'm  running octave 2.1.52 with octave forge 2.1.50-3. After fixing this
send()  problem  I could run the simple examples at the README file, and
also  the  matrix.tcl  from  the  tcloctave package. the matrix.tcl from
soctcl didn't work for me. I'll try upgrading my octave forge. What else
can it be?...

I think it's working well enough for me to start some experiments...
Let's see what I can do, thanks! =)
