I'm not fully certain I understand.  On http://www.gnu.org/software/gsl/ it
says that GSL can be found on this site: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gsl/.  Did I
grab the wrong file?  Or is none of the files on that site the actual GSL
Octave package?  

I also understand that the package is no longer maintained, but I really
just need the elliptic integrals of the first, second and third kind for a
school project.  My understanding is that if the package is no longer
maintained, it just means that there is no longer someone dedicated to
fixing the bugs that people might find.
