Yes, with a couple of minor amendments: before using 'cvs remove' delete all branch tags from the original location, and make sure you only delete non-branch tags from the new location.I found something here - http://www.cs.hmc.edu/qref/cvs.htmlQuestion 3.10 How do I rename a file? actually advices to touch the repository. If this is safe - we have no problem to stop work for a while, rearrange everything, and checkout.Would you advice this as safe?
We have not used branching and tagging in any way - if this makes any difference. That makes it easier, then - just omit the steps about tags. On a tangental note - do learn about tags and branching. They can save you a lot of effort.
