creation is not a bad thing. What is really wrong is when third parties
acquire this right and extend it, even beyond the author's lifetime, and
even at the detriment of the author. Things changed a lot since the
beginning of copyright law. I would suggest 10 years is a sufficient
term, and it should not be transferable. In that way, the copyright
mafia would be forced to aid an author, or wait 10 years and compete
with everyone else.
