There is a %gconf.xml into the zip file.

I have a .gconf/desktop/gnome directory but there is no url-handlers/
or /texedit/ in it, should I create one?

Also, I assume that again the pathname ends in %gconf.xml here.

the gconf-editor tool shows a desktop/gnome/url-handlers entry on the
tree, but there is not a texedit entry in it, how do I create one?
Whenever I'll get one, what to do then? I'm afraid I have never tried
seriously to set up P&C before.

This is not necessary at least with latest evince on Ubuntu 8.10, as
it refreshes the view automatically if the document changes. I have a
similar script for gedit that always called evince after lilypond, and
the evince window first pops up automatically and then once again on
my script call, thus showing an unwanted double flicker.
