Orphaned and widowed lines in \markuplines |

It happens to my scores that when using \markuplines for long texts (more
than a page), Lilypond leaves a first or a last line orphaned (single,
alone) on a page. This is normally unwanted in printed literature. Is there
a way how to instruct Lilypond not to leave orphaned or widowed single lines
on any page?
Since this happens only when long text is offered to Lilypond, I have to
attach an example of considerable length in words (a latin qoutation from
Augustinus). I am sorry for it.
