Hi,

I think I understand the implications, but how do you check out the tree from a branch? I will have to figure it out when I make changes again.

I have been quiet because I have been working hard on an implementation of CIFS/SMB (Microsoft networking). At some point I am planning on releasing it as open source. It is based on lwip and uses both the sockets layer of lwip as well as the sys_arch stuff.

By the way, I have been very happy with the stability of lwip recently. It is working beautifuly. I am using both udp and tcp with about 6 simultaneous connections. No problems.

Regards,
David.

Hello all,

as discussed earlier on this list, the main CVS trunk will become
the STABLE tree.

All development work should go into the new DEVEL branch.

Additional branches may be setup for conceptual or architectural
changes of lwIP.

Only very small fixes may be directly applied to the STABLE
main trunk.

I would like every committer to understand the implications (switch
your working copy to DEVEL and commit from there) and reply
to this list, so that I know everyone is synchronized.

Work is underway to branch off DEVEL. Before that, I still have
to make release 0.6.3 archives. Planned for tomorrow.

Regards,

Leon.
