As you could see on Adam Dunkels site http://www.sics.se/~adam/uip/ :

lwIP is "More powerful but larger embedded TCP/IP stack for microcontrollers" than uIP. About tun/tap no idea (I only use lwIP)...

Objet : [lwip-users] lwIP or uIP ?

Hello,
I'm new both to this list and lwIP/uIP. Both lwIP and uIP seem to be adressing embedded TCP/IP and I'm confured about which one would be best to use.

* What is the difference between lwIP and uIP and what is either ones advantage or disadvatage compared to each other?
* Does both projects support tun/tap (if used on systems that have tun/tap i.e.)?

Regards
/Michael
