As I understand it, it is displaying properly on kterm because lynx is
not doing any translation (and kterm happens to know about EUC-JP).
For "short time" (it would be nice to not take 2 years until 2.8.7),
probably. I think that fixing this would not be as hard as fixing
table layouts.
