Follow-up Comment #1, bug #49386 (project octave):

This might be a dublicate of bug #43099 and is still present in current rc's
and dev. This fixes itself when compiling with qt5.
If I understand [1] correctly, it might also be fixed for qt4 by the attached
patch (might be a wild guess).
However, I cannot test at the moment. (I managed to break my cross-compilation
environment for qt4.) Any help with testing would be greatly appreciated.
