Follow-up Comment #34, bug #54078 (project octave):
Comment #33: Does this happen when the V.E. window is first floated by
clicking the undock button? Drag-and-drop should restore the previous
position regardless of where the drop is done. Perhaps there is some invalid
position at the start.
