Follow-up Comment #134, bug #54235 (project octave):
Well after hours of compiling, gcc 6.4 finally failed with a series of cryptic
error messages. I'm not expecting anyone here to help debug gcc so I'm not
even posting them all but for the curious it includes stuff like:
