Follow-up Comment #29, bug #55287 (project octave):

I changed you code to see how the memory usage changes.

i=0
memold=memory().MemUsedOctave;
do
 i=i+1; 
 data=rand(100000,1);
 #clf #uncomment to avoid leak
 plot(data);
 drawnow
 mem=memory().MemUsedOctave;
mc=mem-memold; 
 disp([i mem mc])
 memold=mem;
until i>100000


It has a cycle of 4 values!
